I have always loved writing. At university I helped launch Sussex University’s magazine, Pulse. I also spent 2005 and 2006 reviewing shows and interviewing acts at Edinburgh Festival for Three Weeks magazine.

Years on and I am now an award-winning NCTJ accredited freelance journalist specialising in luxury travel articles and unusual spa features.

As a luxury hotel and spa reviewer I have so far found myself in some unusual predicaments… Wine tasting in a French monastery, dining with models and DJs in Estonia, truffle hunting in Croatia, braving my first (and only) colonic in London, having my feet savaged by fish in Soho, perfume making in the French hills, having my own blood injected back in to my face in Spain, getting gold plated in Tuscany and meeting the boy king in Egypt to name but a few… phew!
